Capturing the Steel-Structure Floor Market

A Project Acquisition

Gu Yue’s contracted projects have been steadily increasing. By 2025, the company signed construction contracts exceeding 20,000 pings (~66,000 m²), with prefabricated floor and wall panels estimated at over 300,000 m². Discussions for large-scale projects continue to grow, and the 2026 conservative estimate for contracted projects is over 40,000 pings (~132,000 m²), with floor and wall panel demand exceeding 600,000 m².

B Capturing the Steel-Structure Floor Marketa

Steel-structure buildings offer advantages in durability, lightweight design, seismic resistance, plasticity, and recyclability. In current SRC or SC buildings, DECK boards are commonly used for floors.
Gu Yue floor slabs provide:
  • High fire-resistant load capacity – up to 2 hours per m² and 600 kg load
  • Automated prefabrication – ensuring consistent quality and high production capacity
  • Optimized distribution – production and delivery schedules are managed according to factory capacity and project location
Starting Year 115 (2026), Gu Yue plans to engage with major domestic developers, such as Hsin Fu Fa Construction, to replace DECK boards as a primary market strategy.

A+B Overall Revenue Growth

2026–2028: Revenue from self-owned projects (including prefabricated floor/wall panels and steel-structure processing for domestic demand) is expected to increase.
※2027年Revenue from external steel-structure processing and steel-structure floor slab sales is projected to grow significantly.

Test Result — Maximum Load Capacity: 1619.01 kgf/㎡

According to the report issued by the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering, the Gu Yue fire-resistant floor slab (rated for a load of 600 kg with 2-hour fire resistance and a clear span of 4 meters) was tested using a point-load compression and bending test. The results show that the slab achieved an effective maximum load capacity of 1.6 tons per square meter, qualifying it as a “Super Slab.”

Compared with conventional DECK plates, which require an additional secondary beam every 1 meter to support loads exceeding 1 ton, the Gu Yue slab provides far superior performance. To reach similar load-bearing strength and fire resistance, DECK plate systems must rely on their truss-shaped structure combined with additional reinforcing steel and concrete pouring to increase structural strength. The hollow sections must be filled with fire-resistant insulation, and the surface must be coated with fireproofing materials.

As a result, both construction time and cost for DECK plate systems are significantly higher than those of the Gu Yue fire-resistant floor slab.

Enhancing Construction Efficiency through
Prefabricated Floor Slabs

To capture the business opportunities in the floor slab market, the company will focus on single-product sales supported by the completion and full-capacity operation of its prefabrication plant. A complete sales and distribution system will be established to accept orders from domestic and international construction companies. Through strict cost control and continuous expansion of the application scope of prefabricated floor and wall panels, the company seeks to improve construction efficiency and increase its revenue share in the building industry.
